Twitter Gets A New Look
This week, Twitter added a large photo to the top of user profiles, similar to the banner in Facebook's new layout. The feature is available to everyone, but the old layout will remain until the user uploads a header image.
The new image serves as background to the user's avatar and bio/location information.
The move is designed for mobile devices. It leads Twitter's new mobile-first campaign, which also includes a new iPad app and updated Android and iOs apps. To learn more about the changes, check out Twitter's blog.
You can also see examples of how we've implemented the new header photo by visiting our Respage and 4Marketshare Twitter accounts.
